More than just a dumpling, Gyoza is a true emblem of Japanese cuisine. Shaped like a half-moon, Ajinomoto Gyoza feature ultra-thin dough enclosing a juicy filling of protein (chicken, beef, shrimp, pork, or duck) combined with white cabbage. We also offer vegetable Gyoza and even apple-filled Gyoza for a sweet twist. Pan-fried the traditional way (crispy on one side), Gyoza achieve their signature texture: tender inside, golden and crunchy outside. A signature Ajinomoto product for over 50 years, Gyoza reflects both our culinary heritage and our spirit of innovation, forming a core part of our industrial expertise backed by unique know-how.

Since 2023, Gyoza for the French retail market are produced locally in Le Neubourg, Normandy. This production relies on state-of-the-art industrial equipment, including machines specifically designed by our Japanese teams, combined with a transfer of skills through several months of intensive training by Japanese experts for our French teams.

This is a demanding craft, requiring precision, mastery of textures, and genuine passion for this iconic product of Japanese culture.
